John E. Artimez, Jr.
John primarily limits his practice to family/divorce law, personal injury litigation, and insurance disputes. He has also been trained and certified as a mediator by the West Virginia State Bar Association. He routinely handles cases throughout the State of West Virginia, in both state and federal courts.
John has litigated hundreds of cases throughout his 25 years as a trial attorney. During the first 10 years of his career, John practiced primarily in the area of defense litigation. In 1989, he determined to change the focus of his practice, and he has since worked exclusively in the representation of individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
John also maintains a significant practice in the area of divorce and family law. Having been court-appointed to serve as guardian ad litem representing the interests of hundreds of abused and neglected children during the course of his career, John is committed to protecting the interests of children who might otherwise become lost in the shuffle of domestic litigation.
