Jeffrey A. Holmstrand
Jeff focuses his practice on handling complex litigation including class actions, mass torts, products liability claims and insurance disputes. He has handled cases throughout the State of West Virginia in both state and federal courts. Admitted to the Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits, Jeff has assisted clients in dozens of proceedings before appellate bodies including a successful pro bono certiorari petition before the United States Supreme Court on behalf of an incarcerated prisoner.
Jeff has handled a significant variety of litigation since his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School almost twenty years ago. He has served as lead and local counsel for some of the largest corporations in the world, as well as on behalf of local businesses and individuals throughout West Virginia. He has been appointed a liaison counsel in a multi-defendant class action, and has successfully represented clients in more than a dozen class actions brought in West Virginia in the past five years. He has also represented clients in asbestos litigation, silica litigation and toxic tort claims.
Jeff's practice encompasses claims brought throughout West Virginia's state and federal courts. He has handled numerous products liability claims and complex insurance disputes through trial and appeal. He is also retained by other West Virginia lawyers to assist in appellate litigation.
